We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you again to Bali for the unmissible 5th LNG TRANSPORT HANDLING AND STORAGE INDONESIA 2015, taking place on 22-24 April 2015.

After theLNG Conference April 2015 (1)-1 first FSRU project launch in 2012, Indonesia is fast tracking its LNG activities to meet its increasing domestic demand. In 2013, LNG Shipping and Small-Mid scale LNG projects are also scheduled to be on-line, led by state-owned PT Pertamina and the private sectors. Thus, this timely event aims to reinforce Indonesia’s commitment to-wards using LNG as the favoured alternative fuel to bridge the energy gap.

This important event will also highlight business practical, commercial and business cases progress updates smaller LNG projects and technologies that are needed to help the company “transfer” seamlessly into a new era and LNG distribution network, especially for power plants and heavy industries such as fertilizer, production steel, and other industries that use LNG.

This 3 Days event is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter to en-sure that your project costing and efficiencies are not overstretched.

Among the main highlights of this event is supply, market and transport (small LNG projects that have proliferated in many areas).

Small scale LNG projects are absolutely suitable for countries around the Asia Pacific region notably Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. We all know LNG holds promise for Indonesia. In the next couple of years, the growth of small-medi- um scale LNG is set to spiral and we hope this event will bring many benefits to you.

Special thanks to Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, SK Migas, BPH Migas, PT. Pertamina, PT. PGN, and DEN, or their support and our thanks to our sponsor PT. Bayu Buana Gemilang, PT. INDONESIA LNG WHY ?

________________________________________________________

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Indonesia has become one of the most important industries for the next five years , as the “golden era of natural gas” will be booming in Indonesia , and several LNG projects coming online. In an effort to allocate natural gas liquid enough (LNG) for domestic consumption, two large LNG plant in Bontang and West Papua has delivered the first LNG shipment ever domestic respectively . And this is just the tip of the iceberg due to increased domestic demand has been outstripping supply available today .

Indonesian electricity evolving needs- coupled with the needs of other heavy industries such as fertilizer – has made natural gas , especially LNG , a commodity which is essential to meet energy needs . In a separate effort to meet the needs in this country, the world’s third largest exporter of LNG will also begin importing LNG in 2018 to prop up domestic demand. According to the regulator , SKK Migas , Indonesia has been producing 7,89 trillion BTU natural gas in 2013 – and will continue to rise in 2015 in line with the production of natural gas a few blocks .
